We support the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Beginning in 2016, the United Nations identified an unprecedented opportunity to bring the countries and citizens of the world together to embark on a new path to improve the lives of people everywhere - creating the Sustainable Development Goals.

The Footprints Network funds projects that align with the Sustainable Development Goals, in effort to help end poverty and shift the world onto a sustainable and resilient path by 2030.

The Sustainable Development Goals support:

  1. No poverty
  2. Zero hunger
  3. Good health and well-being
  4. Quality education
  5. Gender equality
  6. Clean water and sanitation
  7. Affordable and clean energy
  8. Decent work and economic growth
  9. Industry, innovation and infrastructure
  10. Reduced inequalities
  11. Sustainable cities and communities
  12. Responsible consumption and production
  13. Climate action
  14. Life below water
  15. Life on land
  16. Peace, justice and strong institutions
  17. Partnerships for the goals

In this section we elaborate on some of these global goals to provide educational backround information on their significance.
